Canadian Pacific's Abandoned Chalk River Subdivision Part 2

I took the dog out for a walk on a rather nice sunny Sunday. I decided to bring the camera along. Here are some of the pictures I took. I comment on a few interesting items I found.

Looking North towards Ferguson Tetlock Road.

I found this cable sticking up out of the former roadbed. I gave it a tug, but it was firmly in the ground. Perhaps for the railway crossing lights and gates? It's close to where the crossing at Ferguson Tetlock Road was.

Around the first shadow, you can see the piece of visible cable.

A buried cable sign still stoically stands next to where the rails were.

A buried cable box. Perhaps for signals? It's still locked!

It's still locked, almost as if still doing it's job of protecting the busy cables that are still inside it.

A closer look.
