The third location is a gravel road named Wood Road. Until recently, it was one of only a very few crossings that were protected only by crossbucks on a major railway's mainline.

Canadian Pacific Winchester Subdivision
This is a small look at the Canadian Pacific's Winchester Sub which runs from Smiths Falls, Ontario to Montreal, Quebec. The pictures start at the Eastern edge of the Smiths Falls yard, as does the Winchester Subdivision. The next series of pictures are at Rosedale Road, a couple of miles East of Smiths Falls. Canadian Pacific does crew changes at Rosedale Road if a Via Rail Canada train is due through Smiths Falls, as not to block the passenger train's route through the yard.
The third location is a gravel road named Wood Road. Until recently, it was one of only a very few crossings that were protected only by crossbucks on a major railway's mainline.
